The Student Council

Our Student Council is a positive and empowering initiative that ensures our pupils have a real voice in the life and running of the school. It provides children with the opportunity to share ideas, raise concerns, and help shape improvements that matter to them.

Two pupils from each class, from Second Class to Sixth Class, represent their classmates at our monthly meetings. These representatives are democratically elected by their peers and take their role very seriously, gathering suggestions and feedback and bringing them to the council for discussion.

Thanks to the many excellent ideas received, the Student Council has helped to bring about fantastic additions to our school, including new gymnastics mats, basketball hoops, and picnic benches for the yard. We are currently in the process of procuring school shorts as another student-led improvement.

The council also plays a leading role in organising and promoting important whole-school events such as Kindness Week, Feel Good Friday, the annual Talent Show, and a whole-school physical activity initiative in Term 3.

Our Student Council is at the heart of our school community. Through teamwork, leadership, and inclusion, the children help us to create a welcoming, supportive, and child-friendly environment where every voice is valued.
