What's the Parents Association?
The Parents Association is an active committee who firstly represent the parents of children in the school and secondly look after such duties as fundraising for school activities by various means such as a Christmas Raffle, a Church Gate Collection and Bag Packing. The monies collected are used to assist with extra curricular activities for our children during the school year and as we all too well know in the current financial environment the availability of money is not that plentiful, therefore it is now more important than ever to have a good working Parent Association to help the school and our children to get a wider education and to help make their school life as enjoyable as we can. In the past we have paid for books for the School Library, for P.E. equipment, busses going to Science Exhibitions, Interactive Whiteboards, 10 weeks of music and drama teachers to visit the school and many more and we hope in the coming year to be able to do the same. From time to time during the year, you will receive a Newsletter from the Parents Association giving you up-to-date news on what is going on and what is planned for the near future. At times we will be requesting additional assistance from parents and would be grateful for all help on these occasions.
